About Gracie
"Gracie chose us at the shelter and came home with us on 12-Dec-2007. She did choose us. When we went into the room with the cats, she popped out from under some combination bed/toy quilted sleeve, came over to us and rubbed on our legs and meowed at us. We sat down and she went from one lap to the other, purring and rubbing. We decided that this must be our new kitty! A little later, we learned that Gracie's time at the shelter was almost up when we found her there. It is a country shelter and not a private, no-kill shelter."
